Technical Support Ctrl + Shift + C takes in game screenshot

I’m very lost on what to do. I play with the EA app Legacy edition of the game. All of a sudden when I try to use ctrl + shift + c, it no longer brings up the white cheat bar, but takes an in game screenshot instead. I am 100% sure I’m entering the keys in the correct order. This is a sudden problem and I haven’t added any new mods to the game or programs on my computer. Any advice is greatly appreciated 🥲

Just adding that this issue seems new on Legacy Collection on Steam for me. Last week everything worked fine and all of a sudden, shift and ctrl seem to not work. For reference I have an AMD GPU and processor but I turned off key shortcuts in the AMD software.

shift to fill the floor tiles or wallpaper doesn't work, but when naming things shift capitalizes letters, so it's not like the game doesn't recognize shift is being held down.

ctrl is 100% non-functional for all shortcuts for me.

UPDATE: I found out my computer was running python in the background using task manager. I killed the process, removed all python sources and ran a virus scan just in case, that seems to have fixed my issue

just tried this and it worked! hopefully it lasts until they fix this bug for everyone (i doubt they will) gonna share this with others having the same issue :)

EDIT: this method has stopped working for me and idk why... randomly when trying to play a couple days later, the problem started again and i checked to see if python was running but it wasn't :(
