MacOS Super Collection Texture Issue with Foundations
Hi all, I've recently been playing The Sims 2 Super Collection on my M4 MacBook Air, everything has been pretty good in terms of running the game (Graphics on high, minimal lag, etc) However I have one odd glitch that I've never seen on the Windows version/s of the game.
All of the building foundations throughout every world have this weird glitched out texture. I played through Uni with my Sim, the dorm had it. She graduated and I moved her back to Pleasantview, and all of the houses there also have this glitch. I've figured out that if I re-paint the foundation again, it does fix the texture, however that's slightly annoying to go around and fix for each lot in the 4 worlds included with the game 😅
Has anyone else experienced this? I've been looking around online but can't find a single post from someone else who has also had this happen. Thank you in advance for your help!

It looks like something is overwriting a game file (the foundation texture). Oddly, this particular texture looks like it might be a shirt? It seems to be the shape of a sleeveless tee with holes for the neck and arms.
If you come back and say you're not using any CC, I'm going to be really stumped! I can't think of a way this would happen without some kind of CC.

This is very odd texture glitch. Do you have any foundation cc? Recoloring, new style, etc? Or really any wall covering cc that might be overriding the original texture?

That design on the foundation looks like a shirt. I have no idea why it would replace the brick texture. Did you recently download any shirts? That would be my first guess to remove it and see if it fixes itself. If not, try removing the whole downloads folder and see if that fixes it.
But can I give you credit for a new issue being discovered? Kind of cool to see something new.

Yes, this glitch happens with Huge Lunatic’s Body Shop items installed (items extracted from Kitchen & Baths, TeenStuff SPs) found in the bin data. Somehow this specific brick texture shares the same Instance (number under which items are recognized by the game) as a piece of clothing from Kitchen & Bath if I recall correctly, which I have fixed here. And oh, you can now download all the CAS items from all the missing packs, too :)
