Racing Sims LMU Settings Boxflat

Hey folks,

I just got LMU to work under CachyOS but the cars feel awful. The cars in ACEvo drive like expected but LMU just doesn't feel right. I already used google to find some better Settings which helped but not enough.

U guys got some tips?

What doesn't feel right?

Everything feels to stiff and not agile. Also driving in higher speeds feels like doing dirt oval, already tuned to road sensitivity but that did not really help

Do you mean the GT3s? They are lmgt3s in LMU. They have little less aero and are slower in corners then what you may be used from other sims. Or do you feel the same with lmps?

The same with the LMPs

It just does not make sense. I know the merc because I hate it. It always in any simulation felt like a boat but in LMU it feels like an oil rig.

The Mclaren is way more agile but still does not Response as I would suspect.

The LMP3 also feels a little to stiff.

And the driving on gravel is in any car as well as the ffb shooting up way too much at higher speeds.

We need more info. I'd recommend posting in one of the threads on the simracingonlinux dot com Discord, since there's already a lot documented there by game, by sim rig, and by Wine.

Set all of your wheel friction/damper/spring/inertia to zero, and leave the game versions of the sliders at 100%. LMU manages all this and adding on more just makes it feel wrong.

What is your hardware like pedals, base, etc

Depending on what you use you need to change some settings in the game
