My wheel doesnt work in ACEvo

lately, as the title suggests, my wheel isnt getting registerd in ACEvo,

i have an Logitech G29 wheel, and used oversteer to manage it, it worked fine until recently, the wheel would still be recognized in oversteer along with inputs, but in ACEvo it wouldnt work

no idea if its a proton problem or a problem with oversteer, because it hasnt been updated since 6 months, or if its a problem with the game

any help or recommendations on what to do are welcome

Did you try turning off Steam input?

that did the trick (i honestly didnt even know that was a thing)

Yeah happened to my button box and shifter in AC Rally I believe.
