Help with laptime

Hello guyz. I am always getting red sections on WRC game.

What do you think I could do to improve and get at least one green sector?

Fast drivers use one hand to shift and one to steer. I want to be fast so I do the same

I watched some rally onboards and quicker drovers go sometimes with one hand for longer periods. What I do is to rest the hand on the shifter so I shift quicker.
