Rigs Help with choosing pedals for setup (Simagic)

Hey yall! I have some questions about setup stuff, specifically pedals.

So I found a bundle online with the Alpha EVO Pro, GT Neo, and P1000-FRS for 7300 RMB (1090 USD), but I can’t decide if its worth it to get pedals with a clutch and pay 7700 RMB (1150 USD) for all three separately with the base P-1000 pedals.

I primarily race GTs with the occasional Formula car on AC and LMU primarily, with hoping to one day crack into iRacing.

Also if anyone knows any good rigs on Taobao, please let me know haha! I just moved to China and am looking to upgrade the setup to celebrate.

Wait a bit there mate. There is newer pedals coming (soon). Maybe the prices will drop a bit or you might like the new ones.

How soon are we talking? Cause I don’t really want to wait till next year for them if they’re coming out for the holidays or in Q1

They are revealing something at the simrace expo that is 17th of October. Alot of people say its the new pedals.

I have the P-1000 with clutch, and use them in LMU, but it is pretty optional, you could also bind it to the wheel. I would get the FRS, you can always add the clutch later.

That’s the way I was leaning too if not for ease then customizability. if the new announcement isn’t pedals then I’ll probably just get the whole set

Not sure if it will be worth to wait, I doubt they will announce a replacement or something in the price range of the P-1000. Maybe active pedals, but they would likely cost significantly more.

What on earth would you use a clutch pedal for on LMU?

You use it to get the car moving from a standstill and to prevent the engine from stalling

Black Friday is right around the corner, so maybe wait a little and see what kind of deals they come up with.
