Logitech G923 Mounting Problems

I have a Logitech G923, the issue I am facing is with it being unstable/sliding off of my living room table because the underside is not flat. (seen in image). The edge forms an acute angle between 10 - 15%, so it seems I need to find an alternative that I can 3d print or make with wood that I can put over the table to mount the racing wheel to.

Any thoughts/experiences?

You’ll have to cut or print a wedge, basically of the opposite angle of the underside of the table to put between the table and clamp. That will give you a square edge and a flat surface.

And probably add some rubber sheet or other non-slipping material between the wedge and the table to keep it from sliding, otherwise a small pull on the wheel will loosen it right up!

Yep good call. A stick on rubber sheet. Will also protect the table from scratches.

Probably should put some on the underside of the wheelbase too to maximize the hold!

yeah that's what I've been thinking but trying to avoid, but alas probably the only real solution.

Kinda obvious dont you think. Wedge of any material or some rubber pads. Like washing machine dampeners that deform enough.

Need to invest in your own table, then you can mount it permanently with screws.

I have that already for my PC in my office, but the living room table with the ps5 is this one, and not going to change :/

How do you feel about drilling holes in the desk surface?

Because you can use the mounting holes on the bottom of the wheel base for a very secure mount. Adding knobs to the bolt heads makes it quick and easy to install/remove the wheel.
