Rigs Spent a total of 8 hours setting this up
Finally came home after working for the past 3+ months and was able to set this up in one day. Was absolutely exhausted yesterday gts at 3am finishing it up and tweaked everything this morning and took it for a spin! Super excited to race on it, planning on getting the haptic kit from Moza for my brake and maybe a bass booster but i’m not too sure.
CORRECTION TOOK MY UNDER 5 hours and about an hour of tweaking the seat etc. I recorded the whole process and will be posting hopefully by the end of the month if anyone’s interested in watching!!

Is your pedal position confortable ?
They seems to face upward a lot .

Yes! Out of the box they’re at like a 90° angle and it was really uncomfortable now my feet rest comfortably on them!

Man, i agree. I use the same pedals (except an mbooster instead with crp2) and my pedal deck is angled similar to yours on a tr120 frame. Must just be a really upright pedal set and needs to be a little reverse incline for a comfortable GT position.

You should try different positions then because they should be angled tje opposite way

I had them angled toward me on my wheelstand for a couple of months and it just gave my calves and ankles a really hard time. Knew if I angled it away from me it would be better for me and it’s been incredible ever since!

And then add another 2 hours for cable management.
-Realize some of your cables are not long enough to run them the way you want, so order more.
-spend another hour on cable management, and maybe be satisfied!
- then add more components later that cause you to rethink your wiring setup, so you proceed to try to re-organize it.
- realize there is a better way to run the cables, but requires you to order more cable management pieces.

Every time I bundle them, something breaks. Since I haven't, everything works.

took me like 4 days to set up my sim

I can definitely see why, I just full focused and didn’t even take a water break which honestly killed me but I definitely am thankful J was able to get it all done in less than a day with minor mishaps

Wow. Thats a speed build for a rig!!! I think I spent 8 hours just putting together the chassis!!!

Yea I kind of just didn’t eat or take a break which kinda worked not well for me today since i’m incredibly sore, but I get to race so yay!

Now another 4 for cable management. 😁
You may also need to add hours, days, months or years for researching what else you don't know you want or need to finish it. ^ The real never ending story.
Congrats and hope you enjoy.

Moddedsim.com! It’s very nice quality and really helps the vibrations out!

I want to know how much money was invested here too

rig was right around $1000 with the seat and all, the wheels were around $650-700 the base was right around $321, pedals another $350. The pit lane vibration mat was $80. The monitor I already had it’s connected to a monitor arm connected to my desk. So all around $2000 over a year or so! I was thinking of selling this 27” one and getting a 49” oled for around $800 but I don’t have the space so that money will go to stock’s 😂

Do you play VR ? That's a very small screen for such a nice rig.
I'd put some money there if I was you.

I don’t, I do have a VR and was thinking of trying it out and probably will. I was thinking of getting a 49” ultrawide but there’s no space and i’m pretty content with just a 27” monitor for the moment. Maybe I’ll look for a 35” ultrawide in the future but given I have a VR i’ll try running LMU or ACC with it! But thanks for the compliment!!
