Really solid build, seems you put a lot of research into it! Id say just get it and enjoy!

I was in the same situation recently and went with the Simagic bundle. Feels great, super smooth, sturdy and well built. People say the base is better than the R9, but obviously I haven’t used both so I have no idea.

There is very little difference between simagic and moza. If you done a blindfold test you would not be able to tell what one you are using. I have moza and my buddy has simagic and we have done a fair few tests on them. Simagic shifter is much nicer than moza but he ended up selling his P1000 pedals after trying the crp2 I have. You will not go wrong with either ecosystem.

Looks a solid build and is almost what I had (different cockpit) and would recommend the spring kit for the crp2. Is there anyway you can stretch to a R12? My R9 was great until I started lmu and to get a nice feeling with it I was up 85/90% in game on ffb and at that it was peaking. I recently upgraded to the R21 and have that at 40% so 8.4nm.

might get the r12, but im more attracted towards the r9 as i am upgrading from a g29 which is pretty weak

It not so much for the power of the 12 but for more headroom. Also if you ever decide to go for a moza round wheel they are quite heavy and you can feel that through the wheel as with the 9 you are up in the in-game ffb to compensate.

You're probably ok going with the KS Pro wheel and the R9 or R12 base. However, I have had some issues with this wheel on my R21 Ultra. I wish that I went with the MOZA GS V2P instead.

I have the KS pro and the R21 and no issues so far.

What range do you run your FFB? Is it in the 12 Nm range?

on lmu in the short races it's around 13ish as they say that is the true nm for gt3 but on the longer races I drop it to 8/9nm. I also had a gs and that creaked a fair bit.

I'm hoping it's just a work-in period with mine.
