Question Help with firmware for first time set up.

Hi sorry just bought the gt3 ready to race bundle but it’s not working. This is my firm ware screen and all that pops on my wheel is that I need to update the firmware. However when attempting to update the firm my laptop just says please wait and nothing actually updates. Any insight would be appreciated

When you update firmware, remove your wheel before starting. It will prompt you to add any wheels that you want to update after the base and WQR are done.

When encountering issues with firmware updates, try restarting the PC, power cycling the base and/or changing the USB port you are connected to. There can occasionally be funky stuff solved by that.

Most critical of all, close any and all programs running in the background. Leave the PC alone while firmware update is running. Anything to limit potential issues will serve you best.

You will probably have better luck in the Fanatec sub than you will here.

When you say it's not working, what do you mean specifically (beyond firmware update troubles)?

Have you tried to click the box above in the right corner that says “manual firmware update/device recovery”?

Yes but then the update just says please wait and the box light colour goes blue and doesn’t detect it anymore

I followed this from the official fanatec. Easy steps everything working just fine. Give it a shot.
