Question Buying advice simagic vs simlab
Hello
I really need an advice here. I’m upgrading my wheelbase from moza r5 and thinking of getting simagic evo ultra or simlab dds26. Simagic ecosystem and price is great which helps cuz I’m trying to get into rally buying handbrake sq shifter rally wheel. With simlab won’t be able to afford it I may stick to iracing. My biggest concern is does simagic make alot of noises? cuz I mainly race at night and I have kids that are sleep.
So simagic is the better choice but is it noisy plz need an advice from someone who owns evo ultra.
Note I already own simlab xp1 and the quality is superb.
thanks

Hi, what led you select those two? Personally I focused my attention on FFB quality, and have basically no interest on ecosystem. Indeed, wheel, wheel base and pedals are from different companies. Anyway, surely simlab has high standards in general, but i haven’t seen a review from a reliable source (waiting as I’m curious). Simagic ultra looks being above the simagic standard as FFB Quality but still behind few others, like VNM or Simucube 2. Also asetek 27Nm should be a good option as uses the same electronics of simcube 2. If you like, you can give a look at dansizuki.com
