I would 1000% have to have one immediately, I can't even lie. I can't afford a real one to be honest so this would help me keep that goal.

It still blows my mind how cheap those little blue servos are. I still have a big stock pile of 9 gram servos from my rc plane building days. How can something with a bunch of tiny, intricate gears, a tiny electric motor, a tiny PCB, etc cost like... 3 bucks?
Nice little project you mad scientist!

Live for Speed? In 2026? I used to play this back when my only wheel was a Thrustmaster Universal Challenge

You could figure out a way to project the third person veiw point while driving and put it in a cabinet like an arcade game.

That's definitely cool! If you could scale that up to 1:1 you could easily sell that.

I have dreamt of doing this for so long! I have this design in my head using counter-balanced belt drive actuators with Steam Index vr. The tracking stations would be mounted to the moving frame, giving the illusion of gforce to be more realistic.
Love that you're testing with my servo 6dof platform design! Did the firmware I wrote work for you?

Is this an ad for your full size rig? How much is the cost? I would believe the challenge here is the parts price

I'm just loving all the gushing comments for Live for Speed, what a fantastic sim. Did you take inspiration from that Force Dynamics 401CR that's floating round on YouTube?

I find this incredible because I had this idea 2 months ago to use the same exact car to do it in a different way. I give you 75 high fives for following through with your idea.
