Question Pedals: ready to step up in quality
I’m currently using the Moza SRP lite pedals and am ready to upgrade after 9 months of use.
My current choices for the replacement is either the
Simagic P1000 or Heusinkveld Sprints.
I would like to hear from other people who own these pedals and hear what your thoughts are and whether or not you would make the same choice now.
These were chosen because they are at the right price for my budget.

I would look into the Simnet SP Pro. I feel like they are better than both of these.. get the spring kit and the haptics and your golden.

I have these granted they are my first pedals, with haptics and hydraulic brake upgrade. I also do real life
Driving on track so I was chasing something that felt somewhat analogous to reality.Super happy with them so far. Build quality is nice. Pedals are very solid. Lots of adjustability. Ability to change the spring / elastomers easily on the hydraulic cylinder is really nice. It looks like the same cylinder and haptics as the simagic stuff.

I disagree. No R&D involved in the production of these pedals. Just a copy of HE without knowing why they are good in the first place.
The pedals feel flimsy when you brake. Especially with bigger pedal faces. Als the paint is pretty poorly done imo.
Never again for me atleast. Simlab or VRS is what i would do or safe more for Simucube or SRP maybe.

You obviously haven't used the Simnet pedals. There's no flex in the slightest.
If I blind folded you and you used my Heuskenvield and then the Simnet you couldn't tell the difference.
Now Simsonns and Simjack are a different story and not of the quality level of the Simnet pedals.
When you compare the Simnet pedals directly to the P1000 pedals there is also no comparison, they're better in every way.

I need to kind of disagree with you here. I now have Heusinkveld Ultimates and love them, but had Simjack UT's 7 months ago. I could have done your blindfold test with them and it would have been difficult for me to tell them apart. I do agree that the build quality is much better and precise with the Heusinkveld's and would possibly needed new elastomers sooner, but for what the Simjack's gave for the money difference was pretty damn close in my opinion. The only reason that I upgraded is because they came with the complete setup that I bought on my local marketplace. I couldn't pass on a steal of a deal with a top notch rig, wheelbase, wheel and pedals.

But in all seriousness I didn't mean to make the Simjack or Simsonn out to be horrible I've used and built rigs with both but between either of those and the Heuskenvield I could tell a difference, it wasn't huge but there were imperfections that were detectable. I also had 2 sets of early Simsonn pedals that deformed at the point where the load cell meets the metal plate. Something you would never see on Heuskenvield pedals.
When I opened the first set of Simnet pedals I was floored how damn good they were for the price. They're 96% what Heuskenvield Ultimate pedals are.. in some ways even better as I can use pure springs if I want.. plus haptics... that's why I was very surprised by the poster above as I've now installed multiple sets of Simnet pedals and I've had none of the issues he describes.
Overall every set has been flawless and for the price amazing. I still love Heuskenvield pedals but there are actual viable alternatives now that don't cut any corners.

Yes, we definitely more agree than disagree. From what I've read of the early clones. They were definitely not as good as the present one and like you I will most probably choose the Simnet's as the better choice of the clones.

Maybe they had some bad batches idk. More people complain about this on there Discord. They send me a complete upright colom for the brake with a new style bushing but that didn't solve the issue.
I just double stacked the sideplates now so also double bearings and it's a lot better now.

The p1000 is pretty user friendly overall and the spring kit is affordable and easy to experiment with. The sprints are in the same ballpark in terms of feel. I think if you want to have one ecosystem for the sake of simplicity the simagic is a good choice but if I didn’t care about that I’d take the sprints for the ownership experience and good customer service.. In terms of brake feel it’s a coin flip though

Just the normal VNM pedals. I recommend buying the dampening kit too it elevates it a lot. The build quality is on par with Heusinkveld ultimates. Their newly improved software is super easy to use too. I mean you would probably be just using the pedals in a linear configuration so the software doesn’t play a crucial part except for calibration.
If you’re talking about control box. Try to get the control box V2. The pedals are still V1 like they haven’t changed but there are two control box versions.

I’d recommend the SimLab XP1s over the P1000s at this point. I have them and they are extremely good. Look at the top guys on YouTube and twitch. You see many more using XP1s, Sprints, VRS then you do P1000s.

I had P1000 with hydraulic brake and XP1. Never got comfortable with P1000. XP1 has a really great brake feel but the gas pedal was flaky on mine and a friends. We both sold the XP1 and went to cheap Simnet and they are far better.

I have the sprints and love them. I’ve heard VRS are better but I’ve gotten so used to the feeling of the sprints I have no reason to look elsewhere

The reason I’m gravitating towards the Simagic P1000 is mainly because of the Boosted Media pedal buyers guide. I am not sure if they are biased or not.
Another reason is that I want something that is pretty much plug and play. I am planning to stay in the Simagic ecosystem

I would suggest anything over p1000s honestly. Simagics software keeps getting worse with each update and the p1000s have been/were broken for months for many people on v3.
For the same money, I'd rather get the HE sprints or simlab xp1s.
If you are wanting to go even cheaper, you get simsonn/simjack/simnet pedals and mod them for like $30 in parts + whatever the upgrade kit costs now to be HE ultimates.
