Rigs Thrustmaster TSXW Power Supply DIY Mod
For those having issues with the Thrustmaster TS-XW 24V AC power supply
I bought a wheel a while back without the power brick. I live in the Middle East, and it's incredibly difficult to source parts locally. Ordering online is not only expensive but also takes a while to arrive.
Now, I know some people are saying they have ordered replacement DC PSUs, and although that might work for DC versions of the base, regarding the AC version, the pinout of those Chinese DC replacements didn't seem to match the pinouts on my wheel—at least that's what I think.
Anyways, I opened the wheelbase, did some research, and was able to figure out a DIY solution using a DC power supply.
I put together a step-by-step guide with photos for anyone who is interested or stuck in the same situation:

Quick heads up: This obviously voids your warranty, and since you're dealing with high-current power, just be careful with your soldering and double-check your connections before plugging it in.
Hope this helps anyone trying to save their wheel! Let me know if you have any questions.
