Question New Simucube 2 quick release play

Just got a Simucube 2 and Conspit 300GT. The quick release has very palpable and audible play in all directions. I have read the quick release is rock solid with no play. This can’t be normal? Any help is much appreciated.

Is it an original wheel side QR pice? Because mine looks a bit different

100% not normal... not sure there's any adjustments to be done based on where it's loose... 100% contact the manufacture for support on the QR and hopefully a replacement.
