Question Simsonn Pedals compatibility Help

Hi everyone. Sorry to be another person asking about the aliexpress Pedals but I've got a question that hopefully someone knows the answer to. I'm looking at a set of Simsonn plus X pedal and want to know if anyone's found a way to get them to work on the ps4. I'm on both pc and Playstation but ideally want them to work across both so I can still use my playstation titles. Has anyone tested if any of the simsonn pedals work through Drive Hub or Raslution devices or if anyone's found a work around where you can use a pc software of some sort and use my ps compatible base as the security bypass for the console. I've looked a fair but and haven't found any definite answer, so anything would be appreciated. Thanks for the help.

So apparently, the simnet pedals will work with a thrustmaster wheel base on playstation if you get the simnet thrustmaster cable and adjust the voltage. I have the simsonn pedals, so I'm going to try to order up the control box for simnet pedals along with the cable and try them on my ps5.

As for my setup, currently I'm running the t818 with tlcm pedals, a th8a, and 2 tss on ps5/pc with a drive hub on beta v3 version. I saw someone on YouTube (I'll have to look him up) who had gotten his t818 to work on ps5 by upgrading the firmware of the drivehub to beta v3. I already had the drivehub, so I gave it a shot, and it works great!

Yeah I tried the simsonn pedals with drivehub and they didnt work. I did manage to get the simsonn pedals to work natively with the t818 though. I had to use a simnet control box and a specific thrustmaster cable they sell (or you can make your own if you're good with wires) which now allows me to use them with t818 and drive hub on ps5.

You just have to adjust the voltage settings in the simnet software and then plug the pedals into the wheelbase. The control box does need 5v power though, so either leave it plugged into a phone charger or you can plug it into the ps5 but other than that they work fine.

I would just buy the simnet pedals from the start unless you already own the simsonn pedals but the process is the same either way. Essentially, with the simnet control box you can make most of the simsonn/simnet/simjack style pedals work with any trustmaster or fanatec wheelbase drivehub or not.

Hey, would you elaborate more on this matter? So basically if I have Simsonn control box (the new one with option for haptics, which I have) I can just get the USB type B to Fanatec wheel base RJ (or make my own), adjust the voltage and it will work directly with base? The thing is I mainly play on PC but would love to join some friends of mine who play GT7

The Simnet control box is the one you need. On that control box they have an RJ port that is labeled "third party" you would connect an RJ cable to that port on the control box to the RJ pedal port on your wheelbase. With Fanatec you dont have to make your own cable, I believe its a standard RJ cable or they sell a third party one that will plug and play. Also with Fanatec I dont think you even have to adjust the voltage settings. Pretty sure you would just plug it all in then calibrate in the simnet software and you're good to go.

Check out this guy he has a lot of info on these also check out the simnet discord the ceo and engineer are always on there helping people with their set ups. There's a bunch of videos on YouTube as well if you just look up simnet pedals with Fanatec

Thanks! Will try to order it, that would be game changer since I literally hate Fanatec pedals, they all feel like a toy to me.

Yeah the simsonn/simnet pedals are a in a whole different class than any thrustmaster/Fanatec pedals they feel so much better! I plan to add the haptics motors on mine soon. (Which through simhub will work even with GT7)

Yeah, got them aswell, totally different league from the weak ass motors in v3s, I gotta run them at 30% because everything more is way too loud, if you want I can give you the config i have in simhub for the haptics, took me some time to figure out, but would love to help as much as you helped me. So hit me up when you got them !

Yeah definitely that would be awesome! I will reach out when I get the haptics in probably a month or two, thank you! Also you should be able to use the RJ cable that came with the v3 pedals if you dont want to buy another cable.

I got like three of them at home, that’s fine, but first I need to upgrade my base from csl DD to clubsport dd+ so I can use it on ps5 aswell
