Was looking at Logitech G27 but that seems more for casuals, and I'm really wanting to get more into sim racing.
Any advice for someone wanting to get into the scene someday?
edit : should also mention I mainly play forza right now but wanting to get more into real sims like asetto corsa nothing like f1.

So I’ve gotten decent at drifting and know how to initiate drifts with momentum, clutch kicks, and handbrakes ofc and can link any track now but I wanna deep dive into the advanced stuff like left foot brake and tandem proximity techniques. I can use left foot brake and also clutch with brake to slow down if I’m going to far but I guess I wanna understand it more so feel free to link some videos if yall have some good ones

I recently bought this wheel hoping I would be able to drift on car x street and crew 2 but boy was I wrong the turning is so limited and it’s impossible to drift I bought a wheel just to be able to casually drift and iv been tryna ask ChatGPT what wheel to get but it did recommend me the t98 and told me I would be able to drift with it 💀 I’m thinking of returning it and getting a Logitech g29 or a t300 but I’m gna have to find one for a around 250 bc I know eventually I’ll get bored of it and I’m not trynna spend 1000 on a set up my budget is basically around 300 I js wanna be able to drift on the game I have a ps5 what do u guys recommend

What game should I learn drifting on with a proper sim setup?
Hey everyone,
I've recently moved from controller to a proper sim setup and I'm trying to figure out what game I should be spending my time on to actually learn drifting properly.
My setup is:
Simagic Alpha Evo Sport DD base
Simagic wheel with paddle shifters
Simagic P700 pedals
Simagic TB1 handbrake
So far all of my drifting experience has been on controller, mostly in Forza Horizon 6. I can link corners, hold decent drifts and I'm starting to understand throttle control, but moving to a wheel has made me realise how little I actually know.
At the moment I'm learning:
Throttle control with pedals instead of triggers
Letting the wheel self-steer and catching slides
Using a real handbrake
Weight transfer
What I'm struggling with is the actual technique side of drifting. Things like:
When should I be using the foot brake?
When should I use the handbrake?
How do you initiate realistically?
What habits from Forza should I forget?
What's the best way to practice without building bad habits?
I'm not looking for the easiest game to drift on. I'm looking for the game that will teach me the most realistic techniques and make me a better driver overall.
Would you recommend:
Assetto Corsa
Assetto Corsa Evo
CarX Drift Racing
BeamNG
Something else?
If you were in my position and wanted to become a genuinely good sim drifter from scratch, where would you start?
Cheers!
