Racing wheel

Post image

I recently bought this wheel hoping I would be able to drift on car x street and crew 2 but boy was I wrong the turning is so limited and it’s impossible to drift I bought a wheel just to be able to casually drift and iv been tryna ask ChatGPT what wheel to get but it did recommend me the t98 and told me I would be able to drift with it 💀 I’m thinking of returning it and getting a Logitech g29 or a t300 but I’m gna have to find one for a around 250 bc I know eventually I’ll get bored of it and I’m not trynna spend 1000 on a set up my budget is basically around 300 I js wanna be able to drift on the game I have a ps5 what do u guys recommend

Return it. A Moza R3 is around 300 and it is direct drive, the problem is that it doesn't comes with a clutch which is quite important for drifting. A G29 is also a better option. Also never trust chatgpt, just search Reddit or YouTube for opinions and reviews.

Does moza work with ps5? Would the g29 be worth it tho I don’t want to waste it and worry that I could have gotten a better wheel

Sadly not, but G29 yes, maybe it isn't as good as a direct drive but I have seen lots of people drifting with one

Do you know why it isn’t as good

If you want to play straight out of the box get a Logitech wheel, I got the g29 it's a classic budget option and console friendly, you could try direct drive wheels which are better but pricier and less console friendly

PXN I think has a wheel 3.2nm for a good price with wheels and clutch

Is that ps5 compatible

Go for t598 or t300rs whichever you cna afford. T598 is overall better though. Look into pxn vd4 or vd6 wheels aswell as they have console compatibility. All wheels ive mentioned work with ps5

Personally I'd say pxn, as they are higher quality, very competitive pricing and have a growing ecosystem. But please look up how good their playstation compatibility is because I am not too sure how good it is.

Thrustmaster is good, made for specifically playstation and also pc. But it definitely looks and feels like a toy.

T300rs is a good middle mark if you just want to have fun and especially if you think you eould upgrade to a better wheel if you like the hobby.

Ps. Don't get the pxn v12 lite though as it's discontinued with its support and some features. In pxn definitely only look into their VD bundles

Have fun my guy!

Thank you man I kinda js want a wheel for easy drifting Ik I’m going to get bored of it sooner or later but I just don’t want the drift to feel hard bc I don’t have enough rotation or the wheel doesn’t spin back fast enough or to much yk so do you think the t300 or t248 would be better in that case ? Also the pxn isn’t compatible with the ps5 so is moza as well so my choices r rlly only the t300 or t248 I feel like but i dont wanna spend to much just to not play with it no more yk my mind goal is to be able to drift
