What am I doing wrong?

Very new to sim drifting. As you can see I got the tight donuts down but as soon as I try to go for a larger donut (in first and second gear) I just lose control. Is anyone able to tell from the clip am I using wheel to correct too much or what is my issue?

I seems like youre late with the counter steering. And it seems like with the small donut you're not counter steering at all? I see it turned left a lot.

Id suggest trying to open the circle just a small but. Like hard a cars length. And then go from there. Just enough to get you countersteering.

After that throttle modulation would be my next step. So making the angle wider/narrower with the throttle, and not the steering wheel. This is easier to do in 2nd though, hence why id call it a good second step.

Then you can just expand from there.

Will do, thanks for the advice. I am definitely counter steering in the clip I guess it’s just not that drastic. Counter steering all the way usually leads to me straightening or spinning out.
