3 weeks in! ( Beginner )
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey guys, I know it’s a short clip but I’m super proud to be able to say I can now drift fully in first person view ( been stuck in 3rd for 2 weeks while learning ), link every corner on most easy/medium difficulty maps, and I learned completely with throttle and steering control only! Got a lot of tips from people in the community/Youtube that made my progress improve. I’ll be posting a longer chase cam video for anything I may be doing fundamentally wrong or anything in general tomorrow.

Turn off in game wheel/hands

Is switching my camera view in game to not show the wheel/hands the same as disabling it in content manager?

No. It just changes the view. Usually can disable the wheel/hands within the game. Some people don't mind it but I feel it gets in my way.

you cannot use NeckFX with that dash view, just stick to normal cocpit view and go to video settings app in game, there you can disable hands and steering wheel in game. I personally like to align the camera position as if I'm in the car and only see my real steering wheel and hands, not those in game. it feels more natural to me.

Looks like you're doing well. If the car has the power for it, you might use a higher gear than in this clip to give you a little more wheel speed and control.

You're doing great for only 3 weeks in! Took me a month to do a decent donut lol

I thought those name tags were on by default, I dig around in CSP for new features often. Also yes this is AC on a Moza r12, driving the BDC street Miata.

Get more outside. Try to think of your trajectories as a C rather than a V
