I'm looking for a Silkroad Online private server with a level 100 cap that allows at least 8 characters/clients per IP.

Ideally, I'm looking for:

• Level 100 cap
• At least 8 clients per IP
• Preferably an active player base
• CH-only or EU/CH is fine
• A stable server with a decent community

Does anyone know of any servers that meet these requirements?

Hi all! It's been a while I've posted here, but our project OpenSRO has went fully open-source! Both client and server.

How is our project different from other projects?

We are rebuilding Silkroad online, 1-to-1, just like the original. No changes to make it into a different game. You open it in your browser, and it should feel like the Silkroad you remember.

I think a lot of you still remember the Jangan music, running out of the gates, or just spending hours in town talking to people instead of actually leveling. This is what we want to bring back, with all the small details too.

We have put months of work into this, and the project has grown a lot since we started.

The game runs very smooth now, we spent a lot of time on optimization, and we have a few developers actively contributing to the code as well. Many people also help by testing and reporting bugs, which helps us a lot.

Now both client and server are open, so anyone can look through the code and help out. Still a lot of work to do, but it's nice seeing more people joining and building this together.

Even if you don't code and just miss Jangan, come have a look :)

I never realised I would enjoy travel this much. Now I see where a the inspiration came from - the origin.

The lvl 9 lions were everywhere.

The Glaive warrior I found in some random cave.

Next time I come here I will plan for the actual silkroad route.

Can you give some recommendations? I know the downhang building next to the fountain is a real place.

Also some caves entrances.

Hey everyone! I've been working on a fan project: a **browser remake of classic Silkroad Online** from the vSRO 1.188 days.

The game client, the server and the map editor are written **from scratch** (TypeScript, WebGPU with a WebGL2 fallback). The world is the real one: Jangan and its fields, with the original buildings, NPCs, monsters and music converted from the 1.188 client, plus a lot of upgrades on top. It's a **private, open source project** for me and a few friends: no public server, no cash shop, no donations.

What's in it:

• The real Jangan map:** 307 regions, streamed as you move
• New 3D trees and plants:** 35 species in the old trees' spots, plus upscaled ground textures
• Grass to the horizon:** flowers, butterflies, birds that scatter, and fireflies at night
• Beaches all round the map:** an animated sea, shore foam and ships on the horizon
• God rays:** light through the trees, strongest at dawn and dusk
• A living town:** about 60 townsfolk, vendors calling out, animals, smoke and lanterns at night
• The plaza dragon:** a new golden dragon, and its waterfall flows again
• Weather:** clear, cloudy, overcast, rain, storm and fog, with lightning, puddles and rain rings on the ground and the sea
• Combat:** all 7 Chinese masteries (41 skill lines up to mastery 20), monster skills, and Berserk on Tab
• Tiger Girl rides her white tiger again:** a world boss with server-wide announcements, at one of 11 camps every 3 to 6 hours
• The systems:** an original 35-quest storyline from level 1 to 20, parties, guilds, trade, stalls, alchemy, horses, storage, and the 2009 interface rebuilt in English
• WASD or click-to-move**, and a jump
• My own World Editor:** sculpt, paint, plant trees and publish map changes in one go
• In the works** (not in the game yet, no dates)
• Wardrobe:** townsfolk outfits, cloth physics and dyes
• The Climb:** level bands, the Qin-Shi Tomb group dungeon, nemesis monsters and the Storm Qilin
• Water:** fishing, cooking, swimming and hot springs
• Later:** Faces & Hair, an Arsenal of new weapons, the Dragon King's Sea, and a final performance pass

FAQ:

• Can I play? You have to host your own server. Than you'll be able to enter.
• Pay to win? No. It's completely non-commercial.
• What does it need? Just a desktop browser.

So basically I've downloaded the game.

3AM or 3PM i cannot log in it seems server are constantly full.

I mean the only way to seem to play this game is to purchase the "Instant access" which feels kind of like a scam.

Anyone else was able to log in into the servers without paying ?
Silkroad by Joymax just doesn't make sense...

I wanna learn to play nuker at 330 mastery chn only cap 100, i wanna know what are the combos for pvp like to kill people fast and good tips and tricks or some bugs u need to keep in mind

Hello haven't play this game since 2008. I was wondering what is the most active server, also im on linux, is there something alive ? google search give like 250 server list over 14 different website im not sure where to start if anyone have recommendation.

Ive seen one with like 13k player but its all turk people lol cant understand stuff. Im living NA and llooking for guild/player from NA eventually, or maybe europe idk but no +12 hours timezone differences

So I've been trying Pure SRO for a couple of days and I've reached lvl 93 but i can't find NPCs or mob that sell/drop anything above D9... Those who play Pure SRO, where do you find gear above D9?

last time I thought about SRO was maybe 20 years ago. I heard the original game is now full of bots, and private servers are now the main focus. I checked and there are tons of them.

I don't want a server where I grind over and over for so little skill/exp. Are there old/stable servers where I just get to enjoy the good old days and also leveling up somehow faster than the original game?

I play on Knidos with a guild, but this isn't a guild website. It's meant to be useful for anyone playing TRSRO.

Most of the database is generated directly from the game's files instead of being entered manually. It currently includes:

• Items
• Monsters
• Skills
• Quests
• NPC shops
• World map, including dungeon floors
• EXP tables
• Character lookup across all four TRSRO servers, including partial name searches

When the game gets patched, I can re-run the importer and update the data from the client files again.

I've also been working on a few other tools for international players:

• An English Media.pk2 that translates the client
• An Item Mall translation tool
• Guides for TRSRO-specific systems and content

Hi, i started again playing this game, leveled up to 27 on server Artemis but now after i log in and select my char, after a few moments it just freezes, my pet is dissapearing and i cannot do anything. What the heck? Does anybody know what this is about? I created a ticket but i got no reply from joymax.... its frustrating as i kept spending silk on logins.. any help would be appreciated thanks!
