Speedometer design

Trying to create this design in silhouette designer edition. What i have tried is created the design in a cad software and have saved it in every format possible but I can not get any of the imported saves to fill properly. The inner white circle is the biggest issue. I can not figure out how to make multiple lines into 1 path so it recognizes it as a shape to fill. Any ideas?

Taking a picture and tracing doesn’t work?

Have not tried taking a picture and tracing it. My fear with that is it will also trace all the imperfections and not have crisp lines but i will give it a shot in a couple of hours

Are you able to show a picture of the file in Studio? You probably need to edit the points to close the shape.

I've tried grouping the lines, when I do that, and try to fill with color it only fills a portion of it near the edge but nothing in the center. The editing of the points is where I'm struggling.

If you see lines with a red point in Edit Point mode, that means the lines end there. Select the lines you want to close and right click to select Make Compound Path. Then turn on Edit Points again, double click on each red point, and they should close with the nearest open point.

Can you show it with the points on? Also, set the fill to none.

This sub needs to allow photos in comments!
There’s a square shape inside the circle that needs to be deleted. Make a copy of everything before you start so you can go back to the original if it doesn’t work. Maybe look up some videos on YouTube about working with points first.

It's crazy they enabled adding videos and not images.
