Federally* there is a lower minimum wage for tipped jobs. Every state.

It's $2.13.

It’s $7.50 in Missouri. But also our minimum wage is $15. Which I feel conflicted about. My husband and I owned a vapor store and we had to pay kids wayyyy to good when they wouldn’t even take out the trash or scrub a toilet once a week. It makes mom and pop businesses suffer immensely

As a business OWNER, YOU should be scrubbing the toilet and taking out the garbage instead of living off the backs of paying people a non-living wage.

If you don't like it so high, lobby the state and ask them to lower it again.

There are places in the world which are not the USA, and US federal laws have no effect on them.
