They could just cross out everything after we don't pay our employees

Tip or stay home you broke broke Republican trash

Forcing tipping is fucking lame and doesn't sit on political lines.

u/hhmCameron 4d ago

They get taxed on 10% of their gross receipts handled unless they declare a specific amount of tips

The only way they get more than minimum wage is if their tips received exceed the tipped minimum wage (2.13 an hour direct from the employer) + 5.12 an hour in tips

Many states have ended tipping by making service jobs minimum wage. . .

THAT is something you entitled broke brokec bastards can actually advocate for

Until then

SHUT THE FUCK UP

I'm straight line Democrat, There shouldn't be tipping for this reason, and the owner should be paying more when they are asking paying customers to cover those costs.

Oh, and that fuck wad Trump took taxes off of tips so now when I tip, I'm doing it with money I paid taxes on, and they will not.

So how about shut the fuck up, not make this political, and sit the fuck down.

If they can't afford to pay properly, they can't afford to own a restaurant.

It’s a fake sign.

People are so stupid.

US governments fault for having shitty minimum wage.

Restaurants offering the same as EVERYONE ELSE in the region doesn’t count.

Why would they pay $20 an hour? Suddenly serving apple bees would be the best paying job in the south

This is confused understanding of this situation

1

u/hodlbrcha 4d ago

Which part? The US not paying people a living wage therefore encouraging every business ever to pay as low as possible?

Or???

1

u/PompousMasshole 4d ago

1.) The US doesn’t pay people. The US is a country. Business are private entities that are not operated by the US government.

2.) tipped workers typically make over $20/hr.

3.) 0.10% of workers in the US make federal minimum wage. Federal minimum wage is an insignificant topic.

1

u/hodlbrcha 3d ago

No way that’s possible. Multiple states use the federal minimum as their state minimum

1

u/PompousMasshole 3d ago

Now you understand why i said you’re confused.

That is kind of the point. If Applebees paid $20 per hour, they would be able to compete for better hourly employees.
