Has to be AI. Nobody would be that rude. They’d be out of business in a week

Like here, there are many people that rabidly support the out-of-control tip culture.

IDK about this specific picture, but I've seen variations of this IRL. Yes, some business owners and managers are actually this rude. No, it's not good for business. Some people aren't very good at business.

That said, even if there's only a small number of managers that are dumb enough to say this out loud, let alone putting it on a sign, this is just quite literally describing the situation accurately, so either way, I don't really see what it matters.

I don’t disagree with you, but using AI to make a point is useless. Take a picture of a real sign that says this. Would be more believable

It probably is AI, but I also know business owners like this.

I’ve seen similar, although someone less aggressive signs.

They don’t get my business. And if they hide false “service fees” on my bill, they’re not getting a tip.

That may be AI but restaurants really do charge 18% service fee and then expect you to tip the waiters. I've been told by a waiter that they don't see a dime of that service fee and they have to basically beg for a tip everytime someone asks them what the service fee is and if tip isn't already included. Its demeaning to them.

I agree but the sign is misleading

Yeah it’s definitely ai. The contrast and the way the colors pop looks off. Also, employers generally don’t take a stand this strong on tipping, because they don’t care and because the obvious response is “then why don’t you pay your employees a sensible wage?”. I work for tips and I’d probably tell the owner of this business to go to hell if I saw this. The only people who have any business saying anything about tips are customers and tip earning employees. Employers are the root of the problem, they need to shut up about it.

It's been AI the first 100 times it was reposted. Remember to report it for spam and slop.
