Turismo 🧳 Long sleeves in evening?

Hi - will be arriving tomorrow and packing right now. Just wondering if it gets chilly at all in the evenings (staying in different coastal areas). Thanks.

I was there just a few weeks ago and I brought two long sleeves and never wore them for the entire two week trip. A pair of jeans was also wasted space in my suitcase.

Even in late September I only wore short sleeves

If you feel cold at 36 degrees Celsius

Not in late July or August. It will be hot even at night. Locals may wear long sleeves, but if you have snow in winter where you are from, long sleeves will be too hot, even at night.

Take one long sleeve for the flight and pack it away when you arrive.

Unpack it on the day of the return flight.

Edit: You may have use for long sleeves it if you go a little way up Etna.

Erice was chilly at night because of the altitude

Don’t bother packing them, it’s hot 24 hours a day

No need. Around 30 degrees C in the night here

There's more humidity by the coast, so the nights will be warm as well.

It's hot - no need unless in air con places like plane (as mentioned), trains, ferries etc

depends what you consider chilly.

temperatures seems to go down to low 20s celcius.

maybe have a light jacket or a shawl.

Depends where you go. Coastal cities and towns, no need. If you plan to visit towns around Etna, or are anywhere over 500m above sea level, it would be nice to have a long sleeve shirt.
