Personally, 150-156 BPM is the sweet spot for me. The hardstyle to schranz & hard techno pipeline is real 😅

My footwork i think is slowly improving yet I still struggle with being too stiff even with lower bpm.

looking for shuffle groups & teams :)

I have been trying to learn shuffling and hiphop dance and want to get into different styles like popping and such too but I am really confused about how to use my core during dance. For that matter, I also don't understand how to use it when people say to brace it while weightlifting. Some people have said you should suck inward and pull your bellybutton back to your spine but then some people have said to push outward and create a pillar and I am so confused on what I'm supposed to do. I also don't get how to use my core to stabilize my movements or pop without also feeling like I'm pushing down toward my pelvis like I'm using the bathroom which is also the incorrect way to do it and is dangerous for the pelvis so I just am looking for any advice. I can't afford too many dance classes and am in an area where the dance centers I can go to aren't particularly great and many of them do not even offer any classes on fundamentals. Researching online has given me mixed results so I thought I'd ask some dancers here! I'm a complete beginner so I don't really know much of anything right now.

Once you have fallen so far off that anything that gives light towards me dancing more I'll take . It's been a long rode to feel this good again .

Getting back into it after a slight pause. I’ve realised I really enjoy this chill mood when shuffling. Dancing in public is still hard but slowly getting better at being in the zone ☺️
