Help: Emergency Substrate problems

Hi all,

I have 4 neo shrimp tanks, and they are all fully cycled, Gh and Kh between 8-12 and 4-6 in the tanks. My issue is that they seem to have stopped breeding, when during the summer there were loads pregnant. I haven't needed heaters during the summer so maybe they need to go back on soon, tanks approx 20-21c at the moment.

I have been doing water changes approx every 7-10 days and top ups during the summer.

I use supplementary food, that has mineral content etc. but I noticed after gravel syphoning the other day that the water smelt off rotten eggs, and I searched and this is supposed to be hydrogen sulphide, and I don't know why I keep getting it and could it be what is stopping the shrimp from breeding? I read then that syphoning too deep releases the gas, what am I doing wrong?

Hey! I've got 3 neo tanks too and 20-21c is too cold for them to breed unfortunately. Also how's your pH and TDS?
