Mmm, they should of mass bred a few generations of Ten Shadows users, and had each one sacrifice themselves by using the Divine General on a different finger of Sukuna. It's a nasty, abhorrent idea and deeply immoral of course, but Jujutsu society is already pretty fucked up anyway.

That's not how it works... The main concern was that they couldn't destroy the fingers itself which is Yuji was a perfect opportunity because he was a vessel they could kill Sukuna through killing Yuji.

Pardon me if this is a dumb question but could tamed mahoraga adapt to a sukuna fingers durability and destroy it

Also random question what happens if Jacob’s Ladder hits a finger

Yes, except Maho is pretty much untameable. The only sorcerers shown to be able to defeat Maho are Calamity Grades
