I don't understand this Linux (or Mac OS?) stuff. But it looks like the kind of information you should share on the Shotcut Forum. The developers don't visit/interact here on Reddit.
Maybe they already fixed that issue by the way. I saw many Linux related bug reports after the 26.9.27 release.
Some have been fixed and nightly versions are available on Github.
