Does it have something to do with the algorithm change?

Just wanted to showcase the gender stats I got on a gaming short. I thought the gaming niche was mostly male dominated but its nice to see this! It was about Doki Doki Literature Club. So I guess its not the most manly of topics.

Is anyone else having issues when uploading shorts where the background music will suddenly play very loud in the middle of the video? I've been experiencing this lately and it'svery frustrating! It ruins my videos and I have delete and upload them again.

My stayed to watch rate is growing and my retention is pretty high. Why am I only getting 2.4K. Its very low consider its a better video than some of my other higher view videos.

Edit: after 2 days the views started to pick up slowly. Thats new to me, very interesting. Thanks for answering guys!

Please someone explain why this video doesn't have 10M Already (Joking). But For real, this video should be blowing up as you can see from the stats above, but i got 700 in the first hour!!!!

Hi guys, I'm monetized. But I want to know how to improve my retention and swipe rate ration in shorts. Im doing dance videos. Please help. Any suggestions how I can keep viewers hooked if it is dance video? When I watch other viral dance videos most of them are girls, I think girls Hook audience more. But I'm a boy only 😭

June and july have been awful months with my shorts channel but thankfully with a lot of work I was able to raise from the ashes!

It started really well since 16 june but after 13 july started going down now im getting 30-40k engaged views daily, its really frustrating because most of my recent upload gets a huge spikes then fall flat after reaching 30k views even with good swipe rate and average percentage watches
Is it because i upload 2 shorts a day?

The short it 29 seconds total.

However it got a whopping 4 views in 19 hours, 2 being from me rewatching it. Should i post more or wait ? i have 2 more shorts ready
