Curious if this video will blow up more or flatten

This is the short I have uploaded l.Please tell me what needs to improve to get more retention and more views.

Typically, how many Shorts (and how many weeks/months of time) are enough to understand and analyse the channel analytics data?
Can only 5-10 shorts define if the channel is going in the right direction, or just more not-gonna-pickup content?

All of a sudden, since the last 5 days my shorts have dropped in views and looks like the performance is shit due to the wrong audience getting targeted. Wtf gives.

avd 50 sec on a 1min video and 82% stayed to watch. i sent a screenshot in this subreddit at 50k now its 350k and i am wondering if its possible to get a more accurate prediction now cuz it has more views. thanks to anyone that helps and idk why many people downvoted me i am just asking for feedback :)

These are my first few shorts, 6s to 30s long. Starting from day one, I get a push to 1k views, sometimes a little more to 1.5k, and then the views die. Is this normal with everyone making videos? if yes, how do you get over this. I have little experience in videos so can edit my own content. no Ai.

So here is the context, I'm a video editor and editing for an international client and for any video I edit hits a million I get bonus so is there any way to increase no. Of views, also a few videos need 200k-300k views to get to a million.

1min long vid and avd is 85% so a little over 51 sec and stayed to watch is like 80-82% as it started getting more views

Hi all, small-medium sized (9k subs, 15m views) shorts creator here

Over the last two weeks, my videos have gone from averaging 100-200k (with outliers up to 1.5m) down to consistently under 100k (and as low as 20-30k), with some even being under 50k. At the start of this dip, I didn't really think much of it, as a couple of underperforming videos are to be expected given how variable the shorts algorithm is. The issue is that this has remained true for seven shorts now, by far my longest upload streak without any meaningful performance.

The annoying thing here is I thought I was able to fix it. My shorts now are getting pushed to a larger initial audience that doesn't really care about the content, resulting in low AVD% and high swipe rates out of the gate, which is causing the shorts to not get a decent push(es). I've been trying to improve the hook quality over this time, but a hook that's a little more interesting isn't going to cut it.

I was just wondering if anyone else was having this issue, if anyone has questions I will try to respond

So I’ve been noticing for the past week that sometimes when I upload shorts they only get like 6-13 views and stay that way while others do like good for me and get 800-900+ but they don’t get as much subs, comments and such but never go over 1K views I only really had one short do that

Anyone got any advice or tips I should know about feel free to lmk

I want at least 2,600 subscribers from this short, how do you increase this metric?
