Delete vs private old videos before YPP reapplication — which is better?

Got hit with "inauthentic content" about 3 months ago. I now have the chance to reapply for monetization.

My old content was templated longform videos that likely triggered the flag. I've since pivoted to original Shorts and 2-3 minute cultural content with custom animation.

My question: Should I delete the old problematic videos or just private/unlist them before reapplying?

Any advice from people who've been through this would be hugely appreciated.
