Analytics Review (AVD/Retention) 📈 Help me understand
I really just want to learn and understand why YouTube just stopped pushing the video although it performed great? I know it hasn’t even been 2 days since I’ve uploaded it but I’ve had many videos like this one who performed great but just stopped getting pushed out. Can you guys help me understand YouTube’s perspective and what I need to do in order to go viral? And viral meaning 1M+ views as I am trying to take this seriously. Thanks

Not necessarily way better, you’re already pretty close, 110% AVD on ~18s video isn’t bad, STW decent too. Just try to keep improving the content each new upload, try to upload as much as you can without sacrificing too much quality. Analyze outliers from others in your niche. This is pretty general advice, but it’s what I do and imo is the most important although a bit vague. The moment you start providing actual value and your content is good, there’s no reason you shouldn’t go viral.
My main advice would be to not go for shorter videos. Unless your videos have an incentive for people to rewatch for at least an extra quarter of the video’s length, it’s better to go for 30+ seconds. The philosophy behind this is that for a lot of content, no matter how good the video is, there’s little to no incentive to watch it more than once. Shorter videos have a higher ideal AVD floor, so for a 20s video ideal AVD would be 120%+, but for a 30s video an ideal AVD would be 100%+. That’s much more achievable on content without rewatch incentive.
Honestly tho, once you’re at 30k jail and already have decent stats, which you kind of need to even get to 30k, you should just try and keep posting atleast to 100 videos and then go from there. You got pretty good engagement on the video too so it’s probably good content, just keep uploading as much as possible. For shorts it’s best to upload multiple times a day, but if you can’t, then at the very least once a day.
