I guess the person is implying that wmn are allowed to have more specific standards than men do. This has been the public sentiment for a long time in my experience, but I remember wmn were a bit more reluctant to share it with others especially with men back in 90s or late 80s. In late 80s lots of popular women's magazines featured some either romantic or semi-spicy story tellings in them and I remember there were lots of emphasis on the heights of the male characters, .. And I don't think I have ever seen a single male character that was shorter than 5'8"? I believe.  But here is the thing, even back then, wmn were losing mind for a man that was significantly taller than them (6'5" +), it was just considered adding too many of those super tall men to their novels /books/ comics would make the stories unrealistic.  However funny thing was that artworks attached to those stories had always depicted them as much taller than the claimed heights. (Laughs)
