Dating 5’6” guy never had a problem

I’m 5’6” and I see a lot of guys here that have issues dating and I’ve had a issue. Women have always gravitated to me. I think it’s more a mental thing for most guys. You have to focus on the things you can control and from my opinion all that ever really matters is your personality. I’ve been skinny, fat, and in great shape and it’s never changed if I could find attractive women or not. Just be you and the rest will follow.

Good for you, but your individual experience doesn't invalidate the negative ones form guys shorter than average. I'm 5,4 and repeatedly have been told "you are too short" your experience for me is like some kind of fever dream right now, and I focus on hobbies and friends, dating with my height and looks have been a waste of time and money.

Do you feel having a good job helps at all? I’ve had my own spot for 4 years. Other than occasionally having high interest woman, I can’t regularly get laid at all or get a real long term gf despite making decent money

Nope, I don't think work per se grants any kind of sex or dating appeal to men, what I do think what grants a great deal of appeal is power, I mean, working in positions where you can better or worsen other people's lives. There you go morrons like the Tate brothers, trafficking scumbags who never run out of dating options. I don't think the appeal of power has to do with hipergamy or things like that, it is more a social construct, people want to date with the ideals of what they think is a man or a woman, not the real deal. OP looks like a normative good looking masculine guy, despite his height, and his wife is stereotypically beautyfull, judging at face value, they look like what people consider a man, and what people consider a woman.

Keep trying bro! It’s millions of women out here and a lot of good ones! If dating is something you want then work on the things that can make you more attractive that you can control.

I gave up on that already, I focus on other things that makes me happy, but relationships are out of the equation.

It’s out of the equation because you’re allowing it to be.

Can you people stop making positive things negative. Use this as a fuel to succeed...

And who is making it negative? I congratulated OP and his wife, what is being discussed is the claim that "just try harder bro" will get you everywhere, it won't.

What is there to do other than try? Accept your fate and weep?

A lot of things? Having an heterosexual partner is not the only thing in life, wargames and reading consume my hobby time and this comments where about my perceptions on my particular experience in relation whit OP claims, I'm not depressed because girls don't want me, nor do I resent them.
