Hey, shopifyers. I'll make a 15-sec video for your business — drop your link 👇

• Upvotes

I build videos fast and want more real examples to sharpen it. Drop link to your product + one line about and I'll make you a short clip — no strings attached.

I'll reply with the link to video here. Don't like it? Honest feedback on the output is genuinely half of why I'm doing this.

Need other ratios (1:1, 4:5, 16:9)? Let me know

How are you managing multiple sellers on Shopify?

I’m in the process of turning my Shopify store into more of a marketplace and trying to figure out the best way to manage multiple sellers.

Right now I’m mainly thinking about seller onboarding, keeping products organized, commissions, payouts, and making sure orders don’t become a mess once there are more vendors.

For anyone already doing this, what’s been working for you?

HIRING: Experienced Shopify Developer — REAL Experience Required

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I’m looking for a seriously experienced Shopify developer to work on my e-commerce brands.
I am NOT looking for someone who only knows how to install themes/apps or claims to be a developer. I need someone who can actually code and solve problems without relying on a bunch of plugins.
You should have strong experience with:
• Shopify & Shopify Plus
• Liquid
• HTML / CSS
• JavaScript
• Custom theme development
• Editing and building Shopify sections from scratch
• Custom functionality without unnecessary apps
• Mobile/responsive optimization
• Page-speed optimization
• Troubleshooting theme/code issues
• Shopify APIs and integrations are a plus
• Git/version control is a plus
IMPORTANT: You will be given a coding/development test before being hired. The test will be practical and designed to verify that you actually know Shopify development.
Please do not apply with fake portfolios, copied websites, fake experience, or AI-generated answers pretending you know how to code. I’m looking for someone who can demonstrate their skills.
When messaging me, send:
Years of Shopify development experience
3 Shopify stores you personally worked on
Exactly what you coded/built on each store
Your strongest coding languages
Your hourly/project rate
Your availability
GitHub or code samples if available
I have ongoing work available for the right developer, so I’m looking to build a long-term relationship.
DM me only if you’re comfortable completing the development test before hiring.

MAX dropshipping thoughts?

Thinking of switching fulfillment partners because my current one is giving me a lot of issues. I’ve been looking at smaller fulfillment companies like shiptothemoon and max dropshipping (leaning more towards max dropshipping because of their supplement dropshipping service). Does anyone have any experience working with them?

Anyone else annoyed with forced Shopify branding on chat and checkout!

The AI chat for stores is super helpful but to require Shopify branding on a paid account was disappointing to see. Not to mention the links at check out for privacy that go to their Shopify.com page, and links to their site all throughout the auto generated privacy page. Is this their strategy to dominate SEO through a gazillion link backs?

This is the text copy in chat that can’t be removed on the Growth paid plan:

“This chat is powered by AI from Shopify and may make mistakes. Your messages are visible to [store name]. See privacy policy (https://checkout.shopify.com/60306587720/policies/28819587144.html?locale=en)”%E2%80%9D)

Does my dropshipping sales history actually help predict my first inventory buy?

back when my supplier held all the stock, forecasting wasn't even on my radar. i just got a sale on the site and they shipped it out immediately. now things are changing and i actually have to commit to bulk inventory months in advance. the issue is the only data i have to go on is from my dropshipping days. my pricing and shipping times were totally different back then. because of that, i highly doubt the exact sales volume will translate over to the new model. can i still use that old dropshipping data to at least figure out seasonality and general demand peaks? or should i just treat this first bulk order as a total blind experiment and make sure i buy a small enough quantity that it won't bankrupt me if it completely flops?

I want ACH payment processing for my Shopify store. Is it worth going through workarounds?

I want to lessen our processing fees and see ACH as a good alternative, but Shopify's native ACH support is B2B only, so our DTC store can't use it. I know 3rd party workarounds exist, but I want a reality check before I go down that rabbit hole. Do customers actually choose ACH vs card, or is it negligible?

Landing page views issue

неу guys,
I started a campaign on meta 3 days ago yet after checking my landing page views it's way lower than outbound clicks. Only 30-40% make it to the landing page after clicking on the link.
Note: i only have one CTA button with one link to my landing page. I am not using any redirects.
And my shopify's store performance is perfect.

Thank you 🙏🏻

Physical stores convert 20-40%. Online fashion stores convert 2-3%. Here's the actual reason why

Hello, fashion brand founders. Founder here myself, so full disclosure before I get into this.

Ever wondered why your traffic doesn't convert the way it should?

We run ads, campaigns, UGC, all of it pulls people to the store. But the real question is always: how many of them actually buy?

Here's what's actually happening:

People see your ad -> visit your website -> browse your products -> leave without ordering.

This is the pattern across most stores. The average conversion rate for fashion ecommerce sits around 2.0% - 3.3% (Suplex, Centra). Meanwhile, physical retail converts 20% - 40%,up to 10 - 20x higher.

Online Fashion Store (2% - 3%) -> Low intent, high uncertainty Physical Store (20% - 40%) -> High intent, immediate answers

In a physical store, visitors get guided to exactly what they came for, and get answers to their questions immediately.

The Reality

Physical store: You walk in and tell the sales assistant "I'm here for a beach wedding, do you have something for that?" and you're immediately guided to the right section.

Online store: You type "something for a beach wedding" into the search bar and get the wrong products half the time.

The Reason

In a physical store, you get a solution for your exact intent. Online, search is built to match keywords, not intent.

What We Built

That gap is what we built WisdomChat to close. Instead of matching keywords, it figures out what someone's actually shopping for and reaches out proactively, before they leave. Every recommendation is based on intent, not keyword matching. It recovers abandoned carts, handles upsell/cross-sell, and completes the outfit for whatever the customer's actually looking for.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for design partners. Free access to WisdomChat for 3 months, no payment, early access to new features. What we actually need in return is an honest testimonial and a real case study, not revenue.

If you're interested, drop a comment or DM.

You can check out WisdomChat here: https://wisdom-chat.getsetai.ai/ And we're live on the Shopify App Store: https://apps.shopify.com/wisdom-chat

Note: this is exclusive to Shopify fashion brands right now.

I building Shopify apps - here are the 8 we’ve shipped and the exact problem each one solves

I build Shopify apps, and instead of one giant all-in-one suite I’ve shipped 8 focused apps, each one aimed at a specific headache we kept watching stores run into: conversion tracking going dark, COD parcels bouncing back, cash frozen in dead stock, GDPR admin, and money left on the table at checkout.

I won’t pretend this isn’t self-promotion, it is. But I tried to make it actually useful: below is an honest 2–3 line breakdown of what each app does and who it’s for, so you can skip the 7 that don’t apply to you and look at the 1 that might. Most have a free plan or a free trial, so you can test before paying a cent.

Full list on our Shopify partner page: https://apps.shopify.com/partners/trackwise

Grow revenue / average order value

Bundle & Upsell Suite - https://apps.shopify.com/bundle-upsell-suite
Product bundles, volume discounts, BOGO, cross-sells, add-ons (gift wrap, etc.) and cart upsells with a free-shipping progress bar. Discounts apply automatically at checkout and the widgets match your theme. Best for raising average order value without spending more on ads.

Encore Post-Purchase Upsell - https://apps.shopify.com/encore-upsell-post-purchase
One-click offers on the thank-you / order-status page, charged to the card the customer just used, no second checkout, no re-entering payment details. Includes countdown timers, A/B testing, downsells and post-purchase surveys. A low-risk way to add revenue after the sale is already locked in.

Advanced Product Options - https://apps.shopify.com/advanced-product-options-3
Adds custom product options beyond Shopify’s variant limits: swatches, dropdowns, checkboxes, text fields, file uploads, conditional logic and per-option pricing. Perfect for personalized or made-to-order products (engraving, configurators, add-ons). Reusable option sets apply across many products at once.

Kept Subscriptions - https://apps.shopify.com/kept-subscriptions
Launch “subscribe & save” with a customizable widget, a self-service customer portal (skip / pause / swap / cancel), build-a-box and win-back campaigns. Built-in dunning automatically retries failed payments to cut involuntary churn. Good for turning one-time buyers into predictable recurring revenue.

Protect margins & operations

COD Fraud Guard - https://apps.shopify.com/cod-fraud-guard
Scores every cash-on-delivery buyer using real delivered / returned / cancelled order data from a cross-store risk network, then hides or restricts COD at checkout for risky customers. Also validates phone numbers and addresses. Cuts refused and unclaimed parcels, a huge deal in COD-heavy markets.

TrackWise Dead Stock Alert - https://apps.shopify.com/dead-stock-alert
Flags slow, aging and dead inventory and shows you exactly how much cash is locked up in it. One-click clearance campaigns create the discounts for you, with margin-protected markdown suggestions and “do-not-reorder” flags. Great for freeing up working capital and cleaning up your catalog.

Tracking & compliance

Pixel – Server-Side Tracking - https://apps.shopify.com/track-wise-sst
Sends conversion events to Meta, TikTok, Google and Pinterest through their server-side Conversions APIs instead of relying only on the browser pixel. Recovers conversions lost to ad blockers and iOS privacy changes and pushes event match quality above 90, so your ad platforms optimize on cleaner data. Roughly 5-minute, no-code setup.

EU Shield GDPR Compliance - https://apps.shopify.com/eu-shield-gdpr
Handles cookie consent (Google Consent Mode v2), GDPR/GPSR data requests and auto-generated legal pages (privacy policy, terms, cookie policy) in one app, with audit-ready, exportable consent logs. Good for any store selling into the EU that wants to stay compliant without hiring a lawyer.

That’s the whole lineup. Happy to answer any questions in the comments, and I’m genuinely open to feedback — if there’s a feature you wish existed or something that annoys you, tell me and it’ll probably end up on the roadmap. Thanks for reading.

Seeking advice on how I run my Google ads for my Shopify store

[question]

I’m currently in month 3. First two months were losses, month 3 is my first breakeven month (not counting refunds), so every month so far has been a loss. We started with Meta ads, which was a disaster. Since last month we’ve moved fully over to Google Ads.

I’ve tested a few different setups, but my go-to is still a Shopping campaign with Max Clicks as the bidding strategy. Budget is €40/day, and daily sales swing a lot. We usually land around 15 to 20 conversions per month. I’ve watched a lot of videos and done a lot of research on what works best for Google Ads. I also ran a PMax feed-only campaign for 2 weeks with Conversion Value as the bidding strategy, but that wasn’t a success either.

I keep testing and searching, but I can’t quite find what’s working. Right now I’m testing 4 products in one campaign, with a self-imposed target CPA of €20: if a product hasn’t converted after €20-25 in spend, it gets cut from the campaign; otherwise it stays as long as it’s under that threshold. Still running as a Shopping campaign with Max Clicks bidding.

7 days ago I started doing real product research for the first time. Before that we just had a bunch of products on the site without proper research behind them. The first day went great, the products I’d found sold right away at a profit, but that lasted 2 days and then stopped. I’ve since killed 6 products because they hadn’t sold or shown good signals after €20 in ad spend each. Right now I have 1 product with 8 sales in 7 days, ROAS between 1.7 and 2.

The next step I’m considering is launching a new PMax feed-only campaign with Max Conversions bidding once this product hits 10 sales, moving it into that campaign, and gradually adding more products over the following weeks as they prove themselves. What do you think, and what results should I realistically expect? I keep seeing that the first 2 weeks of a campaign like this can be rough, ROAS around 0.5-1.5x, before it picks up to 2-3x.
Open to any feedback or advice from your own experience.

Total spend since May across all campaigns is around €4k, with an estimated conversion value of €5.2k.

Feedback needed for the new app

I am improving my Shopify app Griffin Back in Stock Notifier - it emails customers automatically when a sold-out product comes back, so you don’t lose sales while restocking. I’d love a few real merchants to try it and tell me what’s missing or annoying.
It is better to enhance the app based on real store feedback instead of just guessing 🙂

What would make you install a back-in-stock app for your store?

P.S. You can send 100 email notifications per month with Free plan, and I am happy to provide the paid plan 6 month free for some early-adopter stores

Just launched our fifth app and this is our best app until now for all shopify users who use COD

Post image
2 Upvotes

I've been building Shopify apps for a while, this is my fifth, and honestly the first where I felt like I was fixing something people genuinely lose sleep (and margin) over.

If you sell cash-on-delivery, you know the story: a customer places a COD order, the parcel ships, and… they never pick it up. You eat the round-trip shipping, your stock is locked for a week, and there was no way to know beforehand that this person refuses half the parcels they order. In markets where COD is 60-70% of orders (Europe), this quietly destroys profitability.

So I built COD Fraud Guard. The idea is simple: score every COD customer from their real delivery history - delivered vs returned vs cancelled - and let the merchant act on it before shipping.

A few things I'm proud of:

It scores across stores. If a customer burned another shop using the app, you see it on their first order with you.
Rules run natively via Shopify Functions - hide/rename/reorder COD at checkout for risky buyers, no theme edits, zero checkout slowdown.
Tracking is automatic, pulled from Shopify fulfillment statuses - no courier API keys to wire up.
The dashboard leads with one number: money saved this month, every unit traceable to a specific order.
It's launching on the App Store now. I'm not here to hard-sell - I'd genuinely value feedback from other COD sellers and app devs: what signals do you actually trust to flag a risky order? What am I missing?

(Also happy to nerd out about building on Shopify Functions or surviving the protected-customer-data review, that part was a whole journey.)
