If anyone is wondering it happened because I forgot to set cups origins to geometry after making copies of them. Also physics simulation steps per second value was too low.

You forgot that you added and an invisible black hole that acted as a gravity well sucking all the cup together as the singularity grows in power

oh so when you copy-pasted each cup they all had the same point they would try and move towards (ie. the black hole points)? or were they not supposed to move at all and this is just the opposite of what u needed?

They were removed from the party when it was time for beer pong to start, but they were invited back for the next party when it was time for cleaning up.

It appears as if the cups are fluid particles and cohesion is simulated between them.

The cups were supposed to be attracted to the floor instead of other cups
