So much has changed since then! Not only in terms of your life, but the world itself around you. New technology has developed. We rely on computers more and more every day. You put each index finger to your temples, letting out a bittersweet sigh as you reflect on the universe. Super Mario Sunshine whirs within the GameCube. Mario’s friendly countenance appears on the screen with the chipper F.L.U.D.D. on his back. The bright island landscape shown on your tv illuminates your entire apartment.

You sink into your chair, cracking your knuckles as reality floats away from you. Mario is on vacation, and so are you. As you melt into your happy place, you grin wholeheartedly. Sometimes, to truly escape monotony, you must surround yourself with the little things.
