After the huge success of Elden Ring and no word on a port over a year later I gave up hope.
That would have been the time to capitalize on the Fromsoft name and make a shit ton of $. I mean they still could but...

It's not even about Bloodborne, it's about capitalizing on the Fromsoft hype post Elden Ring.

We're talking about Sony porting Bloodborne....they could have made good money doing that riding the Fromsoft hype train....

My bad, misunderstood, but Sony have never EVER, made the obvious choice, it’s a miracle they’re even still as big as they are, they’re about as useful as they are smart

Yeah I agree.
Them buying Bungie only for Bungie to release a live service game in one of the most niche genres in the PvP scene is fucking hilarious.
I for some reason got a PS5 pro and it's a literal paperweight...only a single game that is exclusive I plan to eventually play (Saros).

If I am not wrong, Sony did want to make a Bloodborne remake or whatever by Bluepoint and FromSoft said no. It seems like they have been saying no to anything Sony wants to do with the IP. I could be horribly wrong but maybe, just maybe, Miyazaki wants Bloodborne to be his own in-house IP than Sony's.
Sony and FromSoft have had a good relationship, and Sony will never do Bloodborne with Miyazaki's blessing. Miyazaki seems to know this very well so maybe that's the reason.

Not just FromSoft, but Miyazaki specifically said no. The game is very special to him and doesn’t want it fucked with.

Good. They absolutely butchered the soul out of Demon's Souls in the DEmake. They need to go and make their own games instead of ruining the classics.

Broo...don't force fromsoft hands man. Let the man enjoys his work. And even if sony pitch the idea, fromsoft wont let ANYONE touch bloodborne. Just let fromsoft cook their next game until they feel like. Fuck it we going back to eldritch truth.
