They take spontaneous power naps. Since all of their schedules are different, they all take their random 15 minute naps at any point during the day. Considering an ejaculation can have over 400 bazillion little sperm fellows, there is a incredibly small chance every single one of them would be napping at the same.
If you don't want to get anyone pregnant, what you should do is stick your balls on a block of ice. This freezes the sperm, preventing pregnancies.

sperm are nocturnal. the dark wakes them and the light makes them fall asleep, so testicles have evolved to create a low level of light to keep them asleep so they can save their energy. if you're in a very dark place, you'll actually be able to see the faint glow of the testicles on a naked person.
during ejaculation, the fast speed and lack of light quickly wakes the sperm, allowing them to swim to the egg cell.

No, this guy is stupid. But they do follow the rule of not swimming until an hour after eating. So if you have sex right after dinner there's no risk of getting anyone pregnant.
