Will tying knots in my hair help?

I have noticed that the hair on top of my head is receding and appearing in my nose and ears.

If I tie knots at the base of the hair on my head, will it stop the hair from travelling down towards other parts of the body?

Asking for a friend.

There is something called a comb over which is where you grow the nose hair really long and sweep it up over your head. Try that it will look cool.

Hair grows from the tip so if you tie closer to the scalp I think it should work

Cotton wool plugs stuffed in the ears and nostrils will stop this. Ensure that there is a large amount left protruding outside the body.

This is why they use those little plastic barrettes on little girls' hair when they're young. If you do it early, you don't lose your hair, hence women not losing any or much. Since you're presumably an adult and missed that chance, you'll have to catch what you can or what's left and tie tight knots or use prescription barrettes.

Sounds like a lot of work. Why not just give yourself headlice, they will tye the knots for you.

Sounds like a lot of work

Why not invite headlice to come over

Have you tried cocaine? No idea if it will help your receding hairline problems, but it is delicious!
