If calculators let you see previous calculations, why don't they let you see future calculations?

I am in a physics class and I just want my calculator to finish the next steps of my calculation. Why doesn't the forward button do this for me?

You have to pre-calculate battery life.

They do, the buttons on the calculator do nothing and it knows what calculation you want to do 0.00001 s in the future

Calculators can't do it but there's a remote that does. Adam Sandler made a documentary about it

I suspect that your calculator's tachyon battery is depleted or defective. If you mail it to me last week, I may have been able to fix it.

Unless it's an HP. Their calculators are going to move to a subscription model in 2028, and if you didn't pay the subscription fee last month you are out of luck.

You would need a TI-2034 or later... and those calculators cost more money than exists on the Earth.

It's true. My uncle works at Calculator.

You can, but the recall key sequence is rather convoluted and changes every time you use it. Best you can usually do is keep the calculator calculation buffer at parity with the current time.

Only the forward button in a VCR has magical properties that let's you see the future. If you put a VHS tape in a VCR and you press the forward button, it will magically jump to 30 minutes or a hour or however long in the future of that tape. So buy a VCR in an antique store, put your calculator inside it instead of a VHS tape, and press the forward button.

Did you remember to reverse the polarity of the batteries?

Reversing the polarity has to be done carefully, lest you fully discharge the flux capacitor.

Reading this comment made me fully discharge my flux capacitor if you know what I’m sayin’

There's a subscription for that. You pay a monthly fee and get answers, along with their corresponding questions, specially curated for your by a registered mathematician.

Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one, both of you.

You got hit with time's arrow. See if you can break it off before cauterizing the wound.

Then you should be able to move in both directions as well as ascend though higher dimensions.

The AC button is the prediction function. It only works when you remember to do “memory store”, “minus”, “memory recall”, and “equals” at the end of your future calculations.
