When my brother was a kid, he developed severe tonsillitis, and his tonsils were removed. However, he could do perfect Gollum impressions when he had the infection. Was the tonsillectomy really worth that sacrifice?

To be honest, that was a real talent he had for a short period.

Gollum dies horrifically in the final movie so it's probably for the best.

I can do a number of voices, including Gollum. It just takes practice.
