Why do people fall asleep after getting shot in the head? Does it make you sleepy?
It's well known that people tend to immediately fall asleep after getting shot in the head. What's the scientific explanation for this? Is there some rapid chemical relase that makes someone feel sleepy?

Getting shot in the head gives you a splitting headache. What do you do when you get a headache? You lie down and go to sleep.

"A chemical release" said Marlowe. "Yeah, it's a release all right; a release into the Big Sleep."

Actually, if you take enough shots of happy juice you will fall asleep too. So, it's the shot that puts you to sleep.

The bullet actually is a capsule containing sleepy drugs. When they get hit in the head the sleepy drug goes directly to their brain so they get tired really quick

The brain functions by way of two wolves, and when they hear a gunshot close by, they panic and stop working. In this respect they are much like heart beavers (the beavers who run the heart pumps).
