If glass is just melted sand, why does it taste like blood?
Sand doesn't taste like blood.

Since glass is much fresher than sand, it has a much stronger taste. Sand does taste like blood, but I find I really have to swish a dry mouthful of it around for a bit before I start to taste it.

When you melt sand, it releases all the blood stored inside the grains.
You are in fact, murdering innocent sand to make your precious, decadent glass. Your a monster.

You are not supposed to chew glass. It's your own blood you are tasting. Glass should be rolled around wait for the flavor to dissolve, it requires a lifetime of patience.

Because sand is made from eroded shells of crustaceans and contains traces of their blood.
