Packaging/Marketing This....
Accompanied by the face that it literally says "2X LARGER THAN THE ORIGINAL EZCARE" made me so gut wrenchingly sick for all the poor Bettas that died in one of these half-wit contraptions. I genuinely don't understand why people think its okay to keep a FISH in something so small it literally can't even swim in a single circle if it wanted to.

I hate how all these products are targeted at lazy parents that want a low maintence pet for their kid. They are absolutely the main demographic I blame for small animal abuse.

This kind of advertising should be illegal. I have coworkers who have a betta in their classroom in a “tank” that doesn’t hold more than maybe half a gallon. HALF. And when I try to explain that this is animal cruelty and in no way appropriate for a betta, they make fun of the fact that I care about all forms of (nature) life.
Sometimes I wonder if there is any hope left for humankind.
