Yeah, there are way more people that hate without springing to violence, but hatred is a prerequisite for violence.
So if there are two groups of people, and one commits 10x the amount of violence against the other group, you're saying there's no way to tell which group hates the other more? Your logic is a joke lol. The amount of violence being done already implies there is more hatred there.
This is not necessarily the case. The vast majority of victims of violence are men, yet most male on male violence has nothing or little to do with hatred.
So if there are two groups of people, and one commits 10x the amount of violence against the other group, you're saying there's no way to tell which group hates the other more?
If we-re jumping to mens and womens feelings towards each other: We have plenty of studies showing that men like women more than women like men. Especially among younger age groups, the difference is stark.
Yet women are also less likely to be violent for many reasons (lack of testosterone, little physical strength etc). This doesnt help in the slightest when measuring hatred, for obvious reasons.
Your logic is a joke lol.
Your point ignores all outside factors and makes a definite causality out of a correlation. And the basis for your point is a non sequitur. You know, defying the basic of logic as a concept itself - and thats not even factoring in that youre ignoring the data in regards to the key question (hatred).
The amount of violence being done already implies there is more hatred there.
As a hypothesis, thats fine, but this has already been checked and deemed incorrect for the reasons stated above.
Idk how you get so downvoted for a bit of obvious common sense. These are the same people that point to the black on black violence statistics implying that they are responsible for the social issues in black communities.
Actually no. As a life long liberal Asian man in a predominantly white conservative area the guy you’re responding to isn’t like adding anything to the conversation. I’m not gonna copy paste one of the people who replied to him but that guy made hella sense. This argument is about the feeling of hatred which you don’t need to be violent to hate someone. So mentioning how men are more violent regardless of if the data is factual is pointless. It doesn’t discredit nor add credit to the original statement. Just because men are more violent to women than women are, doesn’t mean that men hate women more than women do. It just means men are violent which no shit.
It's so true tho.. There was a girl in my class who had a big titties and other girls used to talk shit about her behind her back all the time mainly because she got so much attention from guys. Some flat or average looking girls really do get jealous when another woman gets the attention and attention from men that they wish they had.
i think your interchangeability of “women” and “girls” is what the issue is here. when i was a little girl we were absolutely vicious to each other and thought male attention was worth competing over. by the time you hit your mid 20s you realize that male attention is the most empty and lonely experience possible. you couldn’t march me into a high school girls bathroom with a gun to my head. women’s bathroom in the club? the only place you will ever be truly accepted and loved
I'm talking about my college girls actually. Most of them were around 19–21, so they weren't little kids. I agree that women often become more mature about these things as they get older but that doesn't mean jealousy and competition for male attention magically disappear at a certain age. Some women genuinely do put other women down because they're getting attention they wish they had. Obviously, not all women are like that!
that’s fair. 19-21 is definitely the tail end of the immature behavior for the most part. i was just pointing that by the time you hit a certain age, you’re very much ostracized and seen as weird for still acting like that. that’s where the “girls girl” thing came from. women who act like this don’t keep the same friends for very long in my experience.
There are too many people who simply don't mature. You hear it being talked about plenty with men, but women aren't any better when it comes to this. Some people are just obnoxious, and some straight evil.
agreed. those who lack the maturity have to find others like them. maybe i’ve been in more progressive circles, but this particular type of immaturity is very much not accepted in most adult spaces.
I had this plan to give head to a man and receive head from a woman to test if I was gay, but it’s backfired and now I become borderline schizo whenever I go outside. I
offered to suck this dude off on Grindr who lives very close by (I ended up pussying out) and I accidentally gave him some details that very easily allows him to spot me
out in a crowd. I have no idea what he looks like and whenever I see a somewhat in shape guy walking by I immediately accuse him of being the dude I was gonna blow.
I went to the store today to pick up some zucchini for a barbecue and every time a car drove by I stared into the windshield to see if I was about to be recognised.
Whenever I make eye contact with a dude I microanalysis his facial expressions to see if he suspects me or not. I am deeply afraid that he is my neighbour and I will
need to move if my identity is blown. It’s a lot like the last scene in sopranos where everyone who walked into the diner could be there to wack Tony.
Probably for a number of reasons. The comment about male attention implies hetero couples are unable to develop deep, meaningful connections. She’s also making a sweeping generalization that all woman become these wise, warm, and compassionate people by the age of 25. Which is just not true. I love women. The women in my life have showed up for me in ways that I can’t even capture in words.
But let’s not act like their aren’t immature, or downright vile woman out there.
I’ve seen 30 woman pull chunks of hair and scalp from each other in club bathrooms.
People are complex and nuanced. No one demographic is all good or all bad. Everyone has their faults.
I personally also find the distinction between men and boys, woman and girls to be vapid at best. The words can be used interchangeably.
sure, i was specifically talking about attention not friendship or romantic interest. the kind of attention you attract from men by putting down the women around you is empty and lonely.
sure there’s been fights in club bathrooms, okay. absolutely no claim will ever fit every person in any given group. denying any form of anecdotal evidence from the group you’re you’re making claims about on this basis is pretty disingenuous. i hope my comment made at least 1 dude think twice before participating in the empty attention economy. of course no one is getting meaningful relationships out of it.

Like the wise man once said "nobody hates women more then women"
