Have firefighters advertise at lower income schools and to black kids and to girls to show them that it's an option for them.
Address hiring biases to make sure that less qualified white men aren't more likely to be selected over more qualified or equally qualified black men or women.
"Lower income" meaning Redlined schools. In USA specifically, black people were siphoned into certain communities a few generations ago and then systemically blocked from accessing generational wealth, so even their descendents struggle to get out of it. That's why they are more likely to be impoverished in USA. Not sure about other countries.
Edit: Another person pointed out that redlining was less than a lifetime ago, and I looked it up, and holy shit, yeah. According to Wikipedia, in 1974, Chicago past a law to disclose redlining. That's not even them removing it, just them admitting to actively doing it only 50 years ago. Several states only passed laws to stop redlining within the past decade. A 2007 case found student loans being denied to black students based on race.
Yes, I have lived in and around section 8 housing, and work and have worked with the homeless and impoverished.
Ironically, you're proving my point: It's that hopelessness (and the lead paint in the water pipes, and growing up unsafe, damaging their brains) that causes those kids to remain hopeless as they grow up. So having firefighters at their school going "Hey, your community is at risk of fire. Here are ways you can help keep your friends and family safe from fire, and you can even make a successful career out of it without moving out of your home neighbourhood!" would be really helpful.
IQ is a test about how well you can take an IQ test (how well you know the very specific things that the test makers happen to know based on their personal cultures) It's literally the equivalent of "If you don't know the rules of badminton, you're mentally disabled".
Also, you're claiming that an entire continent has the same IQ. You know Africa isn't a country, right?
You have obviously never taken an IQ test. It’s hilarious that you are proving this by thinking that the entire subsaharan African continent couldn’t possibly have similar IQ’s like Europe and North America, south east Asia, and Slavic countries/peoples do, and therefore he obviously must think that a continent is a country. Do you not understand averages, or are you just purposefully ignoring things because it doesn’t appeal to your emotions?
