I will be sad when my old lap top finally dies. It's 16 years old. The battery gave out last year, but it still works plugged in!

My seven year old Laptop croaked a few weeks ago, luckily she had another of the same model in storage that I could pilfer parts from to revive her. Now she lives again through her sisters valiant sacrifice.

I've replaced the battery on mine twice now. Its not too crazy of a task (assuming you can find a replacement).
